How to print a report that displays all finance charges.

Finance Charge Report

This report lists patients who received finance charges according to the finance charge parameters set. The report lists the date of the charge, the guarantor’s name, the amount of the charge, the billing type and the guarantor’s primary provider. A total of finance charges is calculated and listed at the bottom of the report. To generate the report, complete the following steps:

1: From Office Manager, choose Reports Management Finance Charge Report.

2: Enter Report Date.

3: Select Provider Range.

Select the range of providers to print, or <ALL> to print all providers. To print only a range of providers:
• Choose the ‘From’ search button to select the starting provider for the range.
• Choose the ‘To’ search button to select the ending provider for the range.

*This report shows the total finance charges for all providers selected in the report.  It does not show the total for each provider.  To obtain that information, please follow the instructions in this article

4: Select Billing Type Range.

Select the range of billing types to print, or <ALL> to print all billing types. To print only a range of billing types:
• Choose the ‘From’ search button to select the starting billing type for the range.
• Choose the ‘To’ search button to select the ending billing type for the range.

5: Enter Finance Charge Date Range

6: Choose Sort (Optional)

To alphabetize the report, select the Sort option.

7: Click OK
